DEVUELVAN EL ORO A VENEZUELA!
HEMOS CONSEGUIDO 10.000 FIRMAS, A CONSEGUIR 20.000
Venezuela ha obtenido el derecho de apelar contra el fallo del Tribunal Supremo de Inglaterra del 2 de julio de 2020 que falló a favor del autoproclamado «presidente interino» con respecto a 31 toneladas de oro venezolano en custodia del Banco de Inglaterra. Este fallo es una parodia de justicia.
El Banco Central de Venezuela al presentar la batalla legal por la devolución del oro incluyó una cláusula pidiendo que los recursos se canalicen a través del Programa de Desarrollo de las Naciones Unidas (PNUD) para que se utilicen en comprar alimentos, medicamentos e insumos de salud vitales para combatir la pandemia.
La petición al gobierno de Boris Johnson en el Reino Unido para devolverle a Venezuela su oro para que pueda usar los recursos para continuar salvando vidas combatiendo la pandemia de Coronavirus ya ha alcanzado MÁS DE 10,000 FIRMAS. Consigamos 20,000 o más para la apelación, así que firme y circule.

APOYE LA CAMPAÑA EUROPEA CONTRA LAS SANCIONES
Una amplia gama de voces internacionales ha pedido la suspensión de las sanciones durante la duración de la pandemia de Covid-19.
Incluyen a Su Santidad, Francisco I; el secretario general de la ONU, Antonio Guterres; Josep Borrell, ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de la Unión Europea; el Movimiento No Alineado; ALBA-TCP; UNASUR; Senadores de los Estados Unidos; numerosos gobiernos de América Latina y el Caribe; CARICOM, la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL); la Confederación Sindical de las Américas (TUCA); la Confederación Sindical Internacional (CSI), la Federación Sindical Mundial (FSM) y muchas federaciones sindicales nacionales (incluidas la UGT y la CC. OO en España, la CGTP-In de Portugal: Public Services International, y muchas más, han pedido a Estados Unidos que abandone este enfoque de aplicar sanciones cada vez más punitivas contra Venezuela.
Las instituciones financieras europeas e internacionales, temerosas de las represalias de los Estados Unidos y alegando «confusión» sobre quién es el gobierno legítimo de Venezuela, están reteniendo ilegalmente alrededor de US $ 6,000 millones de depósitos que pertenecen a Venezuela. Guaidó ni siquiera controla una farola en Venezuela.
El apoyo a esta campaña europea e internacional sigue creciendo y debemos garantizar que las sanciones, que son ilegales, contravienen el derecho internacional y niegan a 30 millones de venezolanos su derecho a la alimentación, la medicina y estar libres de agresión, se suspendan durante la pandemia. Así que por favor firme y distribuya la resolución:

Venezuela has won the right to appeal against the 2nd July 2020 ruling of the High Court of England which ruled in favour of self-proclaimed “interim president” with regard to 31 tons of Venezuelan gold held in custody by the Bank of England. This ruling is a travesty of justice.
The Central Bank of Venezuela when lodging the legal battle for the gold to be returned included a clause asking for the resources to be channelled through the UN Development Programme (UNDP) so that they are used to purchase food, medicines and vital health inputs to combat the pandemic.
The petition to the government of Boris Johnson in the UK to give Venezuela back its gold so it can use the resources to continue saving lives by fighting the Coronavirus pandemic has already reached OVER 10,000 SIGNATURES. Let’s make it 20,000 and more for the appeal so please sign it and circulate it.

SUPPORT THE EUROPEAN CAMPAIGN AGAINST SANCTIONS
A wide range of international voices has called for the suspension of sanctions during the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They include His Holiness, Francis I; the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres; Josep Borrell, European Union foreign minister; the Non-Aligned Movement, ALBA-TCP; UNASUR; US senators; numerous Latin American and Caribbean governments; CARICOM, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC); the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (TUCA); the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), and many national trade union federations (including the UGT and the CC. OO in Spain; the CGTP-In of Portugal; Public Services International; and many more have called on the United States to abandon this approach of applying increasingly more punitive sanctions against Venezuela.
European and international financial institutions, fearful of US retaliation and claiming ‘confusion’ regarding who the legitimate government of Venezuela is, are illegally retaining about US$6,000 million deposits that belong to Venezuela. Mr Guaidó does not control even a street lamp in Venezuela.
Support for this European and international campaign keeps growing and we must ensure that sanctions that are illegal, contravene international law and deny 30 million Venezuelans their right to food, medicine and freedom from aggression, are suspended during the pandemic.
